Our Cutting-Edge Production Process

Maple syrup is a cherished product of nature, renowned for its rich taste and golden hue. The crafting of this liquid gold varies widely across producers, each with unique methods designed to preserve the essence of the maple tree. While traditional techniques have long relied on barreling and reheating before bottling, innovations in the production process reveal paths to even purer, more dynamic flavors.

Our maple syrup production process employs advanced technology to maintain quality from tree to bottle. Typically, maple syrup is produced from sap and stored in barrels until bottling. The process of bottling from a barrel involves reheating the syrup, which often necessitates the addition of water due to the thickening caused by reheating, ultimately compromising the flavor. In contrast, our method bottles the syrup shortly after the evaporation process, before it cools, thus preserving the natural maple flavor.

USDA Organic
Single Source Non-Blended Pure Vermont Maple Syrup

The majority of the maple syrup in North America is sold in barrels to repackaging companies, where it’s blended with other producers’ syrup for consistent flavor and color in large bottling runs. But, not ours!

Simply Organic Maple™ products are meticulously crafted from the sap of our 17,000 maple trees. We oversee every stage of production from extraction to bottling. Our syrup is never blended with any syrup outside of our farm, ensuring the integrity of our product’s USDA Organic certification. This approach not only ensures the highest quality but also supports small-scale operations that honor sustainable forestry practices and traditional techniques. Each bottle becomes a testament to the authenticity of Vermont’s maple heritage, delivering a depth of flavor that speaks directly to the soul of the maple tree.

Zero Carbon

Our newly designed 5000 square foot maple processing facility utilizes solar panels with a combined capacity of 62 kW. This net-metered solar array compensates for the entirety of electricity consumed during the production process. No fossil fuels are used in the manufacturing of our maple products. All production equipment within the facility operates exclusively on electricity.
